Early spring days in Olgii

Made it through my first winter in Mongolia, although it was quite mild. The sun is shining, the temperature is rising, the wind is blowing strong.... Here comes spring in Olgii.  Bringing in the spring with Nauriz, the Kazakh National Holiday, and lots of Olympic Competitions.
I had two teachers, Agii and Sofia, place 1st and 7th in the Regional English Olympics Test. I had two 5th graders, Ankbayan and Dana, win 1st and 2nd place in the first English test; and later in the 2nd English test, Dana got 1st. And my 9th grader, Altintas, got 5th place on her test. All's well in Olgii... ready to explore some mountains and countryside soon!
On Nauriz Day, with Ardak, Ainur, and Baltabek in front of a traditional Kazakh  House
